About Dr. Dan Beers
In private practice for over 16 years, Dr. Dan Beers has treated a broad range of patients over the course of his professional career. Dr. Dan Beers serves as El Camino Hospital’s Chief of Ophthalmology and as an ophthalmic surgeon through the Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group in Mountain View. Dr. Dan Beers possesses expertise in laser eye correction, as well as cataract surgeries. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and products, Dr. Dan Beers is fully committed to helping his patients maximize their quality of life through improved eye health.
Dr. Dan Beers’ precision and skill as an ophthalmologist and his exemplary patient care earned him favorable recognition from San Jose Magazine. Adhering to the most stringent standards of his field, Dr. Dan Beers is actively involved in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Dan Beers laid the foundation for his professional success as an undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego. As a student as UCSD, Dr. Dan Beers demonstrated the tenacity and commitment to excellence that has come to be a hallmark of his career. Dan Beers, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Philosophy. He also was an All-American tennis player at UC San Diego. Dr. Dan Beers completed his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, where he once again displayed his academic dedication by graduating at the top of his class. Dr. Dan Beers also completed advanced ophthalmology training at Oregon Health Sciences.
A resident of Los Altos, California, Dr. Dan Beers enjoys golfing, biking, and spending time with his wife and two daughters outside of his professional pursuits.
